In our religion, we feel that family relationships are very important.
To that end, as the adoption was finalized and Baby legally and lawfully became recognized as our child, we were able to seal Baby to us in the temple, which is a way to recognize the adoption spiritually. Here is a link that explains it a little.
We were blessed to have some of our very favorite people with us in the temple that day.
We didn't get pictures of everyone. I was a bit disorganized about the whole thing. But, we were grateful to feel the love of so many.
And baby's Birth Family was foremost in my mind all day. They have truly given us a gift and we are very grateful for the opportunity to have Baby in our family.

And yes, we will eventually be replacing the picture at the top of this blog. Just as soon as we can get all the family members to look at the same camera for one good picture. Details...details.
