Surprise!

A very short while ago we received a surprise...

And with that momentous decision we were off to the beautiful Midwest.

to meet this little cutie pie and his birth family.

We spent a few days getting to know everyone, traveling, meeting in person, and then enjoying this little bundle of joy in the hospital.  

When it was time, we bundled him up for his first trip.

When he was dressed and carefully put in his carseat, we took him to a hotel.
